Webinar Viewing Instructions

Webinar information will be included in the e-mail notice about the event, as well as in the event description.

You can watch the webinar live as the event is occurring, or view it at a later date. For live viewing, you may log in up to 15 minutes before the event start time.

Connecting to a webinar

Check your software

Prior to the event, check that you have the correct software. It is recommended that you check your software as soon as possible. (Some employers do not allow the installation of software without approval of the IT administrator.)

  • Click on the webinar link on the event page.
  • Check the "Enter as guest" box, and type your name where indicated.
  • Click "Enter Room."

If a blank presentation appears, your software is up-to-date and you will be able to view the presentation.

If you are informed that Flash Player 8.0.0.0 or higher is required, you will need to download and install Flash Player before you can view the webinar. The latest version of Flash Player can be found at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

Connect to the live webinar

On the date of the event, you may log into the webinar page up to 15 minutes before the start of the event.

The webinar will begin automatically at the designated time.

Some notes:

  • While you will be able to hear the seminar speaker(s), they will not be able to hear you.
  • In the lower left corner of the presentation, there is a chat menu, where you can submit questions to the presenter.

Viewing past webinars

CTS webinars will also be available for viewing after the live event is complete. Allow up to 48 hours for the completed presentation to be made available online. A link to the presentation will be added to the event description page.
